I produced and sold claywork through the "Dinosaur Dirt
Farm", a clay studio and business I created in 1985. The
works emphasized a prehistoric or biological motif and were marketed
through art and craft fairs, gift shops, museums, a web site,
and galleries.

general troubleshooting, and supervision of the twenty legislative
employees.

Performed legal research and drafted bills, resolutions, committee
reports, other legal documents and speeches for the Speaker and

Gathered and disseminated information on legislative action taken
by the House and Senate and was also responsible for the supervision,
maintenance, training, and data preservation of the Macintosh
computer system of the legislature and legislative bureau. Taught
the application programs to legislative employees, and continued
to fulfill the duties of Writer/Researcher.

As a part-time Instructor of Biology at Northern Marianas College
I intermittently taught evening classes (Biology, Science) concurrent
with my employment with the CNMI Legislature.
In 1990 I taught continuing education classes (Science, Math,
Writing, English) at Northern Marianas College and the Commonwealth
Department of Corrections. I was also a temporary Science Teacher
at Marianas High School from September to November 1989.
Author of Island Ecology Workbooks.

Authored, illustrated, designed and produced a series of six
island ecology activity books (10-30 pp. each) to supplement
the existing elementary science curriculum. The workbooks are
presently in use by the Northern Marianas Public School System,
and they have been distributed to other island educational systems.

March 1986 to May 1987.
I designed and built the set, puppets, and costumes for "Music
Funfactory", a musically oriented educational series (26
episodes). Received an Emmy in 1988 for this set design. In addition,
I portrayed "Professor P.T. Pickens" (an eccentric
and energetic sidekick of the music instructor) on this production
and on "Mrs. Cabobble's Caboose", a similar series
for younger children. Both series are still aired.

At this wastewater treatment package plant manufacturing company,
I was responsible for research and development, laboratory analysis
of influent and effluent, and maintenance of the treatment plants.

Developed lesson plans and instructed the laboratories for General
Biology 100, General Zoology 111, General Botany 112, and Invertebrate

Worked under contract to conduct biological surveys and submit
reports on environmental stress imposed on streams flowing through
coal mining areas.
